Nancy Pelosi has profited greatly from stock trades that she has made while in office.  Specffically, there is the impression that she has used her position to get access to, and maybe even influence, lucrative IPO's. (Documented in teh book, Throw Them All Out by Peter Schweizer and 60 Minutes.)  Because congress is exempted from insider trading laws, this is not actually illegal. However, it is clearly not ethical. There is an act in the works that will correct this and make elected officials, like everybody else, unable to use insider information to make stock trades.  In the mean time, it is important that Nancy Pelosi sets an example for her colleagues by putting her moeny where her mouth is.  Please ask Nancy Pelosi to make no more stock trades until there is a clear law in place regulating congressional investing.
