Starting in 2014 transit and vanpool commuters will only be allowed $130/month in transit benefits to get to work (a $115 decrease from 2013), while drivers can take up to $250/month (a $5 increase from 2013) to park their cars. Congress should extend the "rule of parity" to give transit and vanpool riders AT LEAST equal benefits as those that drive to work and park.
