It is important because animals cannot talk and they are the beginner recipients of criminal acts that later develop in humans. It is a cowardly act and we need to respond to their unheard voices. We are appalled when we hear of shootings and killings that started years ago when the offender was committing these acts on animals as dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and more. Someone has to stop this madness of senseless degradation of human beings we are witnessing today. Please make your voice be heard in providing Federal laws against animal abuse with felony-level penalties including multi-year prison sentences. Do not wait until it is your pet or your love one.
