Many times family members cannot get the medical help that another family member needs because of the HIPAA law ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Health_Insurance_Portability_and_Accountability_Act ). The law needs to be changed so that, in emergencies, family members can contact doctors to get medical help for their loved ones.
