I already recycle, use reusable shopping bags, and on the occasions that I do eat meat it is local grass fed.  
Now I will compost to further reduce the amount of garbage our household produces.  This will also help me to get ready for a garden in the spring so that I can be really local.  
I am looking getting the Sun-Mar drum composter.  If any one has some useful tips for me I would greatly appreciate it.
