Take A Sistah to Lunch, The Philadelphia Fire Department, Engine 2/Ladder 3/Medic 31 and the surrounding community would like to partner to create a Community Garden at 2436-44 N. 2nd. Street. This garden will contain fresh vegetables and flowers and will be worked and maintained by residents of the community, volunteers of Take A Sistah to Lunch and other interested parties. All vegetables grown in the garden will be given back to the community through the monthly food distribution at the fire station or other community venue.
