Words fail to describe the severity of the current situation in the Congo. The Congolese electoral commission announced the victory of the outgoing President Joseph Kabila on the basis of fraudulent results rejected by the majority of the Congolese, thus laying the foundation of the most murderous conflict. The results published by the electoral commission giving victory to Kabila does not withstand any analysis and they completely lack credibility.

Independent witnesses and journalists who have worked seriously on these elections and toured polling stations noted trends that projected victory to Tshisekedi.

CNN, who intensively reported on Libya, Egypt and Tunisia during their uprising movements and elections, is surprisingly VERY quiet on the current happenings of Congo. We the people of Congo feel like CNN does not care about our people and the killings of more than 5 million of people during the Kabila regime. We ask CNN to provide coverage and increase awareness of the Congo situation to the rest of the world.
