Act immediately to begin the clean up of the MV Canadian Miner

The MV Canadian Miner was being towed to be scrapped when it broke loose and was wrecked on the shores of Scaterie Island, Nova Scotia, a provincially protected wilderness area. The towing company cannot be held liable and now the ship and her hazardous contents are breaking up.

The people of Cape Breton have historically been the victims of the blatant disregard for the environment by corporations who have poisoned the people and the other living beings on this island. We say no more! -We will not leave another toxic legacy for our children to clean up.
