Make Vintage Pan Am Air Terminal a Museum

The Issue

Pan Am's Dinner Key Terminal in Coconut Grove- Miami celebrates its 80th Birthday on March 25, 2014!

One of Pan Am's first terminals is located at Dinner Key in Miami's waterfront Coconut Grove community and served Pan Am's Flying Clippers to Latin America and the Caribbean in the 1930's and 40's.

Since 1950 it has served as Miami's City Hall.

It is time to return this magnificent Art Deco terminal to the people as a reminder of the significant role Pan American World Airways, the generations of Pan Am employees and the City of Miami played in the development of the air transportation system that exists today.

Help us to convince the City of Miami to do what's right for the history of aviation and Coconut Grove, Florida and allow this buidling to serve as a museum to be enjoyed by visitors from around the world.

Currently a Pan Am exhibit has been created at First Flight Out which is located in Cocowalk (2nd level), in the heart of Coconut Grove.
