Well, this is embarrassing.

The City of Lansing had nothing to do with the closure. As it turns out, the venue was closed due to the lack of proper permits, and the decision to close exists not between the BMCH and the City, but between the owner and his landlord.

I was acting on too little information and hearsay, and I sincerely apologize. My heart may have been in the right place, but I failed to gather all the facts before opening this petition.

May a new venue for metal soon rise.
