This has been going on for years and it needs to stop. Ace was only one of the thousands of pitbull/pitbull mixes put down in the City of Detroit each year. I do not see why they can not be given a chance to be adopted out, or have other rescue organizations take them. This is breed discrimination. Punish the irresponsible owners not the breed.
