Occupy Santa Cruz [OSC]  has been peacefully occupying part of the San Lorenzo Benchlands and one side of the Santa Cruz County courthouse since October 6th.

City officials have stepped up threats against OSC, making false claims about sanitation problems, while keeping their own public bathroom locked at night to discourage the protest.  In response sympathizers donated a 24-hour portapotty to compensate for the cutoff in city facilities.

City officials have recently threatened to get an Injunction against OSC as a "public nuisance" using the same concocted poopoo & peepee propaganda.

The City's attempt to shut down First Amendment protest activity using sanitation problems that it has created through closd restrooms is a classic example of blaming the victims.

Demand the bathrooms be opened and the smear campaign against OSC end.
