New Hampshire House Bill 446 as amended will soon be making its way to the floor and it is important to understand the serious effects this will have on New Hampshire.
Citizens of New Hampshire be aware that there is presently a House Bill pending in the New Hampshire State Legislature to repeal mandatory licensing or certification requirements for the following professions: Allied Health Professionals, which includes Occupational Therapists, Recreation Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, and Athletic Training;& Massage Therapists, Cosmetologists, Barbers, Estheticians, Court Reporters, Tanning Salons, Fish and Game Guides, Reflexologists, Asian Body workers, and Structural Integrators.
This legislature will put you and your family at risk for physical harm at the hands of unskilled, unregulated service providers.
This is not how New Hampshire stimulates business by allowing unskilled or unethical practitioners to set up shop and eliminating our public safety net.
Sign this petition to tell your legislator that as a concerned citizen in New Hampshire you are against amended House Bill 446. We must stand together to protect our families, communities, and jobs, as well as our way of life.
Citizens against New Hampshire HB446
Greetings,
I just signed the following petition addressed to: New Hampshire House of Representatives.
----------------
I am asking you to vote against NH HB446.
As a citizen of New Hampshire, I understand that these professions have been regulated for the safety and well-being of the general public. These jobs require specialized skills and training which help to protect consumers from physical harm and fraud. Removing this safeguard will not only put me, my family and community at risk, but will open up my community to fly-buy-night and unscrupulous practitioners. I also understand that this action will cost New Hampshire valuable revenue for which alternate funding will need to be found, and that source could easily fall to the already burdened taxpayers. My signature on this petition voices my opposition to HB446.

Sincerely,
[Your name]
