Critical here is the issue of dirty politics. Negotiations for Asylum should not involve political wrangling as there is no guarantee for GuangCheng and his family once the U.S. delegation leaves China. This petition asks Madame Secretary Hillary Clinton to intervene in the safe passage of Cheng GuangCheng to the United States.  His safety and his family remain unknown as the US continues bilateral talk with China.  This talk however should emphasized the importance of human rights as linked to economic and political transformations and negotiations.
