The United States spends trillions of dollars a year supporting the Military/Industrial Complex, both at home and abroad. We spend billions of dollars a year just with our operations in Iraq and Afghanistan while we borrow money from China and other sources to do so.

It is time to end our preoccupation with armament and use this money to pay off our debt and bring our economy back in line.  In realizing the drain on their funds, and how those funds can be put to work at home, our Allies are withdrawing troops from foreign soil and ending the bleeding of their economy. Surely we are as smart as they.
