Masoud Hajivand has been living in Canada for the past 7 years. He took asylum as a refugee due to his conversion to Christianity and the severe threats and consequences he would face if returning to Iran. After rejecting his claim by the Canada immigration, Masoud, a beloved husband and father, a tax paying worker with No criminal record was detained. He has being kept among criminal for more than 3 months since June 27, 2014. 

Considering the extreme violation of human right in Iran, if Masoud would be deported to Iran he will face imprisonment, torture, and even execution.

According to the human right reports, with over 687 executions, in 2013, Iran has its highest number of capital punishment in the past 15 years. And more innocent people including three Christian pastures are in the dead raw just for seeking their basic human rights.
