"The State Department is proposing cuts to international water and sanitation program in this year's budget. We are turning to you, some of our strongest ONE activists, to help save this funding.

Congressmen Earl Blumenauer and Christopher Shays are sending a letter to the Appropriations Committee asking Congress to provide $300 million to help increase access to safe drinking water and sanitation in developing countries.
