Remove teachers who sexually abuse or are violent to students.

The Issue

Senator Alex Padilla's SB 1530 aims to allow schools to remove from the classrooms teachers accused of sexual abuse or violence against students. The California Teachers Association (CTA) is steadfast in their opposition to this bill, which we see as morally wrong and another example of teacher's unions going too far in putting a few bad teachers ahead of the good of the community.
