Pomona a city of 149,058 as of 2010, is accustomed to living in fear. Pomona is known as a drug infested, gang-controlled, bullet riddled city that sits between Los Angeles and the Inland Empire.

The citizens of the city are tired of dodging bullets and wondering who is going to be next to succumb to the whims of the gangs and other criminal elements that seem to be running the city, while our elected officials continue to ignore the problem.

The citizens believe that the city's administration, i.e., mayor's office, city council and the police department have been in collusion with the criminal element in Pomona, since the late 1970's.

The city's population has declined between 1999 and 2012, from 149473 to 149056, down 417 people, 272 of whom were murdered, accounting for 65% of those no longer living in Pomona. The violent crime rate in Pomona has been higher than the national average for 13 years, from 1999 to 2012, according to latest statistics. There have been approximately 14 murders in Pomona from January to June 2013, none of which have been solved.

There are only three relatively safe areas in the city, the Fairplex neighborhoods, Lincoln Park, where most city officials live, and downtown, where the money is. Every other area of Pomona is loosely policed, and there is the appearance that city hall is in collusion with the criminal element, and that criminal element is actually running the city government.

The citizens of Pomona want their public officials held accountable for the unabated crime and unsolved murders in the city. They also want to know why the the police department, mayor's office and the city council all continue to turn a blind-eye to the wholesale MURDER that has eliminated a generation of young men (and women), and has destroyed entire families.
