SMTOWN Live World Tour is one of the BIGGEST K-pop concerts to occur, but they have only held the concert primarily in Asia. In the few times they have brought it to the USA, SM has focused primarily on California as their target concert tour state and have only been to the east coast once for SMTOWN NYC 2011.

However, since the B.A.P and INFINITE concerts that have taken and are taking place in the D.C. area, it's become apparent that there is indeed an audience for K-pop in the Northern Virginia area. For people living in and around Virginia and the Washington, D.C. area, that's a big step toward K-pop coming closer to home. What this petition aims to do is gather enough signs to show that, YES, we indeed want to have an SMTOWN in Washington, D.C. and that there is actually a strong desire to have one!
