Bring Back The Trains! NWCT > Pittsfield, MA / the Berkshires

The Issue

Can you hear the train a-comin'? Sign the petition, add your thoughts, and share it with your friends. Your comments will be sent automatically to the politicians who can make this happen. And check out the Berkshire Train Campaign website for the background on the project as well as the latest news: http:www.traincampaign.org. Passenger service from Grand Central Terminal to Pittsfield will promote sustainable economic development and make the Berkshires a vibrant model for the kind of rural-urban connections needed in the 21st century. Businesses offering professional jobs will be far more likely to relocate to the Berkshires when there is easy access to New York, and existing businesses, schools, and organizations will thrive. Please support rail restoration underway by signing this petition, and forward it to friends, family, and colleagues! The Berkshire Train Campaign needs volunteers, too. Read more at the website, http:www.traincampaign.org, and download the PDF flyers there to distribute in your community. Questions and volunteer offers, as well as financial sponsorship, can be sent to thetraincampaign@gmail.com. PS: after signing, you may be taken to a page offering other petitions. This is a function of the web platform Change.org, not something the Berkshire Train Campaign has any control over.  There are personal settings you can change. Thank you for understanding and, most of all, for adding your voice!
