The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show now feels that Pedigree Dog Food ads are too focused on the cause of the adoption of mixed-breed shelter animals and that they DO NOT share that vision. The Kennel Club is focused on the purebred mission including the adoption of pure breeds as opposed to mixed breeds. We feel that the dog show should at least support the cause for adoption of ALL DOGS, not just purebreds. Millions of animals die every year in shelters and we feel this needs to stop.
