All eyes are on Canada as it prepares to host the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Again the Olympics Committee has chosen a Country where innocent Animals are skinned alive for Fur!

Each year, hundreds of thousands of baby harp seals are slaughtered on the ice fields off Canada's east coast for their pelts.  Over 95% of the seals killed during this hunt are just days or weeks old.

If you were to witness this cruelty personally, your heart would break.  Newborn seals skinned or bled alive ... clubbed to death ... or shot and left wounded to die under the ice.

In the past three years, nearly one million baby seals have been clubbed or shot to death. Shockingly, the hunt is subsidized by the Canadian government!

Please help us show the Canadian government the rest of the world will no longer stand for this inexcusable and senseless hunt.


Ask the Vancouver Olympic Organizers to tell their Government to halt the Seal Massacre.

writing to express our Condemnation about the Seal Hunt in Canada.Please urge the Government of Canada to halt the Seal Massacre.

In early spring, when the seal pups start molting their white coats, thousands of Canadian fishermen, proceed to club, shoot, and skin hundreds of thousands of seals in front of their panic-stricken mothers who are helpless to defend their young, most just a few weeks to a few months old. An analysis by a panel of veterinarians showed that 42% of the seals are actually skinned alive. Each year, hunters kill about 1/3 of the pups born. This number does not include those seals that were wounded but not caught and died later or natural mortality.

The Canadian government blame the Seals for the decrease in cod populations, but scientific conclusion proves the depletion of fish is human over-fishing. Blaming seals is a convenient way to divert attention.


Urge the Government of Canada to end the cruel Seal Hunt. Until they do , we will boycott the 2010 Winter Olympics and boycott canadian Seafood.
