Dana air crashed on the 3rd of june, 2012 and in that crash 153 people were killed including my father Dr. Levi Ajuonuma. The airline was well aware that the aircraft was faulty but still took flight that day. After the crash their license to operate was suspended and just 3 months after the fatal crash, the federal government of Nigeria has decided to lift the suspension and allow the airline operate again. The wounded hearts are still bleeding and not being taken into consideration. Families had to wait for 2 and a half months before they were able to collect their respective corpse , due to the fact that a DNA testing process had to be done , this was also a very devastating period because it prolonged and delayed the healing process for the families involved. Most families are yet to bury their beloved ones and are still in the shock of it all. No compensation has been awarded and NO PUBLIC APOLOGY has come from the airline to the citizens of Nigeria. This petition is a platform to voice out and SPEAK UP against this action by the federal government and also to ensure that the airline is BAN from flying in Nigeria.
