Bluehole Studio (bluehole.net): Take action against Gameforge (publisher of TERA Europe)
The Issue
Gameforge has failed to deliver and has left many of its players frustrated (both free and paid subscribers).
Their servers have crashed or became very laggy to the point that characters are stuck and the game became unplayable. Their response time is very slow, and most issues never seem to be fixed.
Gameforge is ruining the game and many of its players' gaming experience. Players feel that they are scammed, as a lot of time and money are wasted, and this matter should not be taken lightly.
A change is required and something must be done against Gameforge, who seems to think that they are invincible and do not care much about their players as they will still be earning money anyway by continuing this kind of service.
Edit: Even their ex-employees seem to think that Gameforge is defunctional and some even agrees to some of the complains made by customers.
Just some of the comments from ex-employees:
- Gameforge seems oblivious to the idea that a well-advertised and well-maintained game will attract paying players. It seems addicted to the malady of small “get rich quick” schemes that invest in poorly designed browser games and suck customers dry before they become aware of the ploy.
- Monetization is simply not taken seriously at Gameforge. Little to no innovative thought is put into creating good monetization business models and there exists a culture of creating Pay-To-Win games regardless of promises made. Most Cash Shops are simple rehashes of doomed predecessors and fail to be popular due to players’ unwillingness to accept certain monetization standards.
