Bisexuals have rights!

We have rights! Stop taking them away!

Dear Decision Maker,

I am a citizen of the United States of America. I am very proud of this fact. Although there are some issues in which I would like to address. I have been in this world for twenty-two years now. I have what some would call an abnormality, disorder, but what I call it is a gift. With this gift I am being looked down on and have to go through verbal abuse and others with the same views of mine have even been beaten and abused. The specifics of my "condition" is I am bi-sexual. I know there are a lot of groups that want to legalize gay marriages. I for one am all for it. I have read and studied all sides to the issue of legalizing it. I have some points I would like to address.
You see every side has a for and against proposal. I am going to tell you both sides and my resolution. I would also love to set up a phone conference with you if you don't mind. This is a very serious matter. I know it may not seem like it but it is.
Why others oppose it.
Reason 1) They are afraid we will impose ourselves on them.
Resolution. We will not impose ourselves we are just in a desperate search to know we are not freaks and to find others like us. If for some reason one should impose themselves or beliefs on another this is why we have sexual harassment. All they would need to do is file a charge if that individual doesn't stop. On the other hand this can happen whether the person is gay or strait.
Reason 2) This will reorganize the current idea of what a family is today. Meaning one man one woman.
Resolution. Yes it would in a way but it is only because we feel that we have the right to fall in love and take the same vows as a man and woman in love. To deny us this right is unmoral. Also this is a form of discrimination and should not be tolerated. Family is what you make it. There are many multi-family's living together and that is a way of reorganizing the "idea family." Reason 3) Gay people can not reproduce and have children.
Resolution. No they can't but it doesn't mean they don't want children. It most certainly does not mean they won't love a child either. As of now in today's society it is very hard for a gay couple to even adopt a child. If they were allowed to then that poor child with out a family would have parents, that love them and the state would be spending less tax dollars for orphanages and child protective services would have more parental options.
Reason 4) I have even heard of people going as far to say they aren't good parents.
Resolution. I am a parent. I love my child very much and would do anything to protect him. Would I impose my views on him? No, This will be his decision when he gets older. The thought that it's not acceptable just makes the chance of my son looking down on me higher. No parent wants their child to feel embarrassed by them or look down on by their child.
Reason 5) It's not moral religiously. Resolution. We have the freedom of religion for one. But I will address this one also. I have read the bible and I have yet to see it say word for word that gays, lesbians, and bisexuals are prohibited to fall in love and marry. If it was so immoral wouldn't "god" have struck us down for it? I think after 2012 happens and nothing happens people will lose their faith and start to see that love between two people despite gender,race,religion is a beautiful thing. It's even more beautiful because they have to fight for it. Reason 6) Gays spread HIV and other diseases.
Resolution. This is so stereotypical it's not even funny. Here goes my the answer. Why is it that if a gay person does have a disease it's because their gay? There are many strait people who have diseases also. But we have gay bars....what happens at gay bars? The sole purpose is to meet up with some one and go home with them so yes it's a possibility to spread diseases. Solution create revenue for our county open a gay marriage cafe so we can find someone to fall in love with and not just hop around.
What are the benefits of gay marriage and allowing polygamy and bisexuals have both a male partner and a female partner? The answer is well over 1,000 but I will name a few.
Once it is legalized everywhere it will be out in the open and we can work better with each other. If it is kept in the dark we will always fell as out casts and get into more conflicts when we try to be open about it.
Our future children will have more respect for one's personal decisions.
This form of discrimination would be canceled out and create more jobs, freedom, happiness and have more troops to defend our country.
This would end the violent sickening hate crimes against us. This would also lead to less people behind jail cells and have them open for those who should not be released.
There would be more child adoptions again saving our tax dollars. These children would have a home. A real home and family who love them and they deserve to have a family.
Family reunions would be peaceful and happy. It would be out in the open and families can move on and love each other again.
There would be less affairs and more honesty and trust between a husband and wife or a wife and a wife etc. Divorce rates would decrease and more children would have less broken homes. Suicide rates would significantly decrease. We would be accepted and yes acceptance is going to be a long journey but eventually it will be accepted. These suicides happen because of all the hate, violence, and abuse we go through.
It would help balance out the man to woman ratio or woman to man ratio.
Polygamy would be legalized and create more happiness. Make it a law that as long as the head of house hold can support their spouse...if the spouse isn't working, they can have as many wife's or husbands as they choose.
Children would be able to cope better with parental death. They would have another parent there to help and support them through this time of grief.
As I will list our constitutional rights that not legalizing it will and is violating as of now.
Under personal security it violates both
(1) Not to be killed.
(2) Not to be injured or abused.
Personal Liberty:
(3) To move freely.
(4) To assemble peaceably.
(6) To assemble in an independent well-disciplined[13] militia.
(7) To communicate with the world.
(8) To express or publish one's opinions or those of others.
.(10) To be secure in one's person, house, papers, vehicle[14], and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures.
(11) To enjoy privacy in all matters in which the rights of others are not violated.[7]
