The From Ashes DLC was developed alongside the main game as opposed to after release, which means development funding and time has been spent at creating content that will not be included in the main game unless you have preordered the Collector's Edition or you pay 10 dollars for the DLC.

This is a bad, greedy and shameful practice which, quite frankly, insults loyal fans. We pay 100% for 100% of the game, not 100% for 90% and another 10% for the last 10% of the game.
