This  petition is to over turn a 500yr old english statue still on the books in Florida. Many states have already revised or deleted this statue. The statue states if a pregant woman married before the child is born, her husband will be know as the child's natural father and his name be placed on the birth certificate. Furthermore the legitimacy of the child can not be over turned by another man comming forth as the child's biological father.

This is Very personal to me. My brother is fighting this in court right now, for the chance to have , custody and, visitation of his son, The mother moved away and married another man prior to the child's birth.

Please help in this fight to change this statue, it may be the only chance thousands of fathers have to see their biological children.
