For many of us, Doctor Who is our favourite T.V show. For some we have grown up with it. For others they have been introduced to the wonderful show in the last couple of years. Either way, it has now become a classic in its own time and is loved and adored by many.

And of that community, many are appalled by the idea of a Doctor Who film. It belongs on television. And it definitely does not need to be made into a film that ignores the vast lore and continuity of the show. As fans, we trust the BBC and Steven Moffat and the other various writers and directors that are employed. We do not trust a film version. We do not trust David Yates or the rumours of possible American writers to write the script for this truly British show.

And so we plea to the BBC; stop this film.
