Because everyone knows that no one actor can "destroy the legacy of Batman" and, actually, Ben Affleck will probably be a decent Batman, and deserves a chance. So calm down. You've protested most casting decisions for most superhero movies, going back to the 1989 Batman, and that turned out OK, didn't it. Please, calm down.
