When I recently reported my husband's death, Bank of America restrained his account. Now I cannot see which creditors are withdrawing funds to collect monthly bill payments, as he intended. I want to contact creditors to transfer the payments to my active acct. I just want to pay our bills! BOA does not care if I receive late fees, if the creditors are denied their rightful funds, or if our finances and credit rating are ruined as a result. They won't reactivate the account or allow me to deposit money into it. Please demand that BOA change this hurtful policy targeted against people who just want to do the right thing.
