In Denmark it is allowed to hunt with bow and arrow. It has been legal since 1999.

It is proven that this medieval methods do more harm to animals than normal hunting.

Both the Animal Ethics Council and Animal Protection believe that woundings are much too high in Denmark and that bow hunting makes it even worse.

It has been banned in Norway, but now they will allow it because it is legal in Denmark. Swedes can be taught in bow hunting in Denmark.

More and more countries prohibit hunting with bow and arrow, including Germany, England and Scotland.

The new government has promised better welfare for animals. To ban hunting with bow and arrow is animal welfare.
