Balandra is a beach in La Paz, Baja California Sur, México. Until April 26th it was open for all the public so people of all economic classes could attend with their families and have a nice time. Also it is a "virgin beach" that has no buildings or other man-made structures that affect the environment and endanger species in that area.

Now the city council has now revoked the title of "Natural Protected Area" to let hotel industries to build hotels and other tourism complexes in that area that obviously will affect this area and contaminate it, in addition to this, many people that have no economic power will be affected in the way they enjoy and pass the time in a healthy way with their families.

Please ask the La Paz, Baja California Sur City Coucil to leave BALANDRA as a Natural Protected Area.
