There are otters in small cages without water, an owl chained to a tree in daylight, as well as other birds and animals in tiny cages mostly unable to move around.

The elephants didn't fare any better. They were forced to do tricks at the end of each HOUR LONG ride and made to continuously walk through out the day. Their heads were beaten with a bull hook whenever they stopped for food ( this is nothing new, but still very appalling).

I believe that changes must be made and Bakas Elephant Park has the resources to do this. I do not feel that the park needs to be shut down as there are people whose livelihoods depend on the place.

However, something needs to be done for the animals. This abuse needs to be stopped!

I believe that the abuse of animals at the park needs to be addressed and stopped immediately.

You must know that keeping otters in a cage with no water, having an eagle in a cage with no space to fly, tying birds such as owls to trees (in daytime no less), and keeping a snake in a glass box where it cant even stretch out fully is simply UNACCEPTABLE! You will find other people DO NOT find this acceptable either.

When I was last at the park I saw a family attempt to feed the otters potato chips. No one stopped them.

If the prices are so exorbitant, I am sure the least you can do is give some back to the animals in the form of proper enclosures and better treatment.

Elephants tied to concrete pads, which they are also made to sleep on, is unacceptable too. Not to mention beating them with bullhooks.

Improvements that need to be made include, water for the otters, proper cages for all the animals, and especially proper cages for the birds tied to a tree branch.

Bad reviews are being given to the elephant park. People who go there are not happy with the place. If this continues, people will stop going to the park, and you will end up shutting down.

Hence I urge you to make the necessary changes.
