Atlanta City Council, Help the Elephants

Atlanta City Council, Help the Elephants
The Issue
The City Council of Atlanta, Georgia will vote in just a few weeks on whether or not the abuse of elephants with bullhooks—rods with a sharp metal hook and point on the end which are used to strike, jab, hook, prod, and beat elephants—will be legal in Atlanta.
While some councilmembers support a ban, others are on the fence and are facing tremendous pressure from the mayor and companies such as Ringling Bros. that make profit from elephant abuse. But the councilmembers are subject to public pressure as well, and every person they hear from adds to that pressure.
Please tell the City Council to end elephant abuse in the city of Atlanta.
