In February of 2009, the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics announced that it would provide second-trimester abortions to women in need.

But now, because of constant fear-mongering and harassment by anti-choice groups, UW is backing down from its pledge, citing safety and privacy concerns for patients as the main reason.

There is only one place in the entire state that will perform a mid-term abortion, and it is located in Milwaukee, which is too far to travel for most women who need the service because of health issues.

Tell  the University of Wisconsin Board of Directors to stand up to the anti-choice groups and honor its pledge to women's health.
