Ask the EPA to Acknowledge the Truth

Something amazing is happening this week.

After years of ignoring the science, the Environmental Protection Agency has finally declared that global warming is a threat to public health and wellbeing.

And they want to know if you agree.

What the EPA decides now will influence how our leaders take action to curb the global warming pollution that threatens 20-30% of plant and animal species with extinction--not to mention our families' futures.

If you tell them about the wildlife you see threatened in your communityyour friends and family that have been affected by increased hurricanes and flooding, and that you want to safeguard our natural world for your kids and grandkids, they'll listen.
How does global warming pollution endanger your health and wellbeing?

Let the EPA know.

Dr. Amanda Staudt, the National Wildlife Federation's Chief Climate Scientist told the EPA in person at a hearing in Arlington, Virginia on Monday.

I told the EPA that as a DC resident, my home is threatened by rising sea levels and increased risk of hurricanes.

And now, here's your chance to tell the EPA to help protect our families and our natural world, just like we did.

Thank so much!

Global warming is the single greatest threat to wildlife, not to mention our children's future. At long last, the Environmental Protection Agency is taking steps to formally declare that greenhouse gas emissions are a threat to our public health and welfare.

And this is your chance to tell them emphatically, YES they are.
