Every five years, lawmakers work together to improve and reauthorize government-funded Child Nutrition Programs.  These programs include the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs, the Commodity and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), the Summer Food Service Program, and the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).  The Child Nutrition and WIC Reauthorization Act of 2004 will soon expire, and Congress is set to begin debating funding levels for these important programs.




As a member of the committee responsible for Child Nutrition Reauthorization, your Member of Congress plays a crucial role in the outcome of this important legislation.
