The best and most effective way to remedy the shortcomings of the new native Maps app on iOS 6 is for Apple to approve a Google Maps app that will bring feature parity with Maps on Android to iOS users.

To Apple: Please approve Google's Maps app, reportedly in the works as of November, 2012!

To Google: Please incorporate all the features of your latest version of Maps for Android, especially StreetView and turn-by-turn voice directions into the Maps app, and submit it to the iOS App Store for approval soon!
