OS X Lion brings a lot of new great features.

However, the monochrome grey User Interface for sidebar icons, is definitely NOT one of them. It could be annoying, distracting, and confusing for some users; If you add on top that you can't move your categories in Finder (such Shared, Drives, Favorites) and the remove of some (such Search and Places), it becomes very difficult for some users to be as efficient as before with previous OS X version.

We should have the choice to set our own icons and choose to show them in grey or color... as it was possible in Snow Leopard.

By having a checkbox in OS X Lion Preferences, to let the user to choose between color or grey icons for sidebar icons on any application, it would fix this problem.

Apple needs to come with this update; so please do sign the petition to let them know you want them you want this option ASAP.
