For over 20 years since the ADA was passed and the laws concerning Service Dogs was enacted, people still think that they can just refuse to do any kind of health services due to their dislike, fear or religious convictions concerning working canines. This has to stop. If you don't like dogs, stay out of the medical profession and get a job somewhere else. Both me and my dog have been physically attacked, threatened with physical violence to both my dog and myself. The sheer mental trauma of it alone no longer has any monetary value at all. It is all about EDUCATION from the start of school to the workforce & Corporations. If you think it could not ever happen to you, think again. My life changed in less than 30 seconds and here I am today, with a Service Dog, still fighting for my dignity and rights.
