Dear Senator Scott Brown,  

At this point you are probably aware of the case of Eric Balderas who was spared deportation after a massive international outcry at the injustice of a U.S. immigration system that deports the best and brightest from the only country they know as their home.  Eric's has been spared the threat of deportation for now, but his future is still uncertain, and it will continue to be unless you give a straight answer on where you stand on the Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act.

We, the undersigned Latino students of Harvard College, urge you to make a decision now, and give the 65,000 U.S.-raised students that would qualify for the dream act each year an opportunity to achieve their American Dream.  Many DREAM-eligible students, such as our fellow Harvard colleague, Eric Balderas, are depending on you to support the DREAM Act. Their futures, and the future of our country, depends on it. 

We can wait no longer. Be our champion, and ensure the passage of the DREAM Act this year. Change takes courage, and we are not afraid. Make a public decision now.
