Let us be united to support our fellow activist's put behind bars for a noble cause, their intention was good, might be action violated some law and law for public not people for law, hence we have to consider activist's intention for public interest.

Shut down all animal testing Laboratories on this Globe, alternatives be adopted and animals be rescued - rehabilitated all over. All animal rights activist's, so called accused be set free and acquitted.

A judge sent five British animal rights activists to prison on Monday for waging what he called a campaign of intimidation, violence and terror against companies linked to an animal testing lab.

A judge at Winchester Crown Court in southern England sentenced the activists to between 15 months and six years for targeting about 40 suppliers of Huntingdon Life Sciences, which conducts animal testing for the pharmaceutical industry.

Prosecutors said the campaign included abusive phone calls, threats, vandalism and hoax bombs sent to the homes of staff.

Some company directors had leaflets distributed near their home falsely accusing them of pedophilia, while others had "puppy killer", "murderer" and "scum" daubed on their houses and cars.

Judge Keith Cutler said the campaign had been "synonymous with intimidation, violence and terror".

"The action was taken in order to distress and terrify, and in that you were successful," he said.

"I expect you will be seen by some as martyrs for a noble cause, but that would be wholly misplaced," he told the defendants.

The five, aged between 22 and 53, are members of Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty, which has waged a long campaign against the Cambridge, England-based company. A sixth defendant received a suspended sentence.

Fight for Justice, Say No to testing on animals

Greetings,

Let us be united to support our fellow activist's put behind bars for a noble cause, their intention was good, might be action violated some law and law for public not people for law, hence we have to consider activist's intention for public interest.

Shut down all animal testing Laboratories on this Globe, alternatives be adopted and animals be rescued - rehabilitated all over. All animal rights activist's, so called accused be set free and acquitted. I have always believed animal activists are basically very good people whose only crime is to care too much for animals welfare. When governments sit idle and do nothing to combat the legalized cruelty inflicted upon them by mad scientists, then it becomes too much for those who REALLY care and so they take matters into their own hands. I personally think these activists are very brave and are only doing what many of us would want to do.

It is the scientists who should be in prison for the LEGALIZED cruelty they carry out every day. How they sleep at night I do not know..
