Why is this important? I'll tell you why.

In today's modern society, more and more metal bands are creating music that has been done to death. Everything is the same and the fans of metal are becoming sick of it. However, with the creation of the band "Among the Dead" located in Beacon, NY, things are starting to sound different.

Among the Dead was formed back in the year 2008 with a group of guys who wanted to play with themselves in a non platonic way. Having a taste in the Metal genre, they formed the band and started to produce sweet sounds that even history teachers would enjoy. They would go on to tour around the Hudson Valley and even in New York City looking to make a break in the music industry.

Up until 2011, their studio work and live performances were only getting better and better. With an ever growing fan base, the band was looking to hopefully get a record deal with a show in Manhattan pitting bands against each other to compete for a label. After the performance, Among the Dead did not make a record deal and unfortunately, the world is now doomed to listen to more of the same material.

Following the show, the band decided to pursue other life choices and decisions. This left many in their fan base disappointed because they knew that this was a band that had the potential and audacity to become something big. Their latest studio recording "The Crossing" was met with critical acclaim and their band mp3s have over 10,000 hits accumulated.

This petition is to show the members of Among the Dead that if they continue to play shows and make music that they can do anything at Zombo.com. Not only that, but they can still get a record deal if they are dedicated and persistent enough to try. Even to all the people that have never even heard of this band, please support them in their efforts to become a successful metal band and hopefully put T-shirts on every metal fan and every Hot Topic poser out there.
