Motorcycles are no more dangerous than driving a car, the result of a motorcycle rider having an accident compared to that of a car driver are worlds apart,  there is no denying this unfortunate fact. As a motorcyclist on australian roads for over 16years I have come to learn I have only 2 forms of defence against being struck by a car. One is sight, being seen by other road users is key to a safe ride. being sure to not sit in a cars blind spot is paramount. Second is sound, being heard by other road users who may not have seen me has saved me and many other rider many times before. Please help me and every other motorcyclist, brother of, sister of, father of, friend of, daughter of ect out there stay safe on our roads not let the government halve our chances of survival by enforcing the noise pollution act on us and have us silence our bikes. We are not asking for the right to have a motorcycle that sounds like a jet engine, all we are asking Mr Albanese is to raise the current db limit to 130db on all motorcycles/mopeds.
