1) The passage of this bill will put thousands of Licensed Massage Therapists out of work in the State of Florida.

2) It will also limit "Massage Therapy" is being excluded as defined in Chapter 480.033. This would exclude ALL massage therapy, even if provided or billed by other practitioners/providers and in addition, all other services in our scope of practice including Ultra Sound, E-Stim, Thermal and Hydrotherapy". The primary form of treatment that can be prescribed by a physician to treat soft tissue injury in an automobile accident.
