Congress and the executive Branch must seriously challenge the oil companies by adopting clear dramatic methods to reduce american dependene on foreign oil and clean up our environment.  By executive order president obama should solar panel every federal government in the country and the world including us embasies overseas in warm weather countries.  By doing this is sunny states in the us the south and california and southwest the government could save millions in electric bills in the long run and take out carbon emissions from the air.  He could also rasie employment in those states by hiring local help to do the job.  He could then buy electric vehicles in bulk for the various government agencies as official federal vehicles and provide and develop an electric jeep for the army/navy/air force.  Seedmoney for research could be sent to develp eletric batteries for larger military vehicles as trucks tanks and all heavy military vehicles.  They would be fster eastier to refuel and eventual;ly cheaper.  Congress could and should stimulate the economy bty offer larger tax breaks to business that solarize their buildings/business as well as to individual home owners throughout the us especially down south and in warm weather states.  Low interest loans could also be offered.  Do it now.
