To Governor Perry. The signatories of this petition ask that the inmates on Death Row, be given the right to make international calls. We are not asking for extra phone time, just the ability to speak with our friends and loved ones, if we are abroad. The denial of international calls is unfair to us who do have a friend/loved one on death row, and the knowledge they could well be put to death at some point, makes the need to be able to communicate with them all the more important to us. We ask that you review this recent policy change, and allow the inmates to speak with those of us who are not in the United States.
