Aloha from O`ahu, Hawai`i. Yes this where Honolulu is and only 15 minutes from town and even less to the Beach.

After being the only State in the Union without snow or record cold tempatures, you all will say "what does he have to COMPLAIN about?"

Well, to start, March 15, 2010 will be the 24th year DIAGNOSED HIV+, then and since as an Educator to our Youth, opening my own Not for Profit Organization called West O`ahu Hope For A Cure Foundation, Inc. You must be thinking life is good but only G-d is good because one of the only medications left to keep me alive killed my kidney function. I have had so many different tubes coming out of me, including at one point initially kept alive on a Respirator, while I keep on pulling out the ports they are putting in. Hey, I was full of Morphine, to the hilt, I certainly didn't mean to be a difficult Patient, and I had no idea what was happening, but it was MY dilemma, yet my Mother was by my side when I couldn't even notice and every day after, because FAMILY or in Hawai`ian your `Ohana is 1st and they are your #1 advocate, but now I need the biggest gift to ask for. "The Gift of Life" by donating your good organs to Patients who needs Kidneys, Livers, Hearts, Eyes, Ears and I could go on but I won't frighten you. I need your attention and help in this matter, OK!!

Six out the past eight weeks I have spent in the Hospital, including Christmas, Channukah, my Birthday and Ner Years. I spent them in a Hospital fighting for my Life. I presently have been discharged and am on Dialysis 3 days a week for 4 hours, so 12 hours of my Life are spent cleaniing and removing what the kidneys have not.

I am in an extreme need for a Kidney Transplant, and the foolish interpretation of the semantics used behind Federal Rules, not a LAW, which of course would receive the STIGMA Attitudes and Practices, including Medical.

I have been turned down for the "Gift of Life" by the Transplant Team of Hawai`i;

They say they are following a State Department of Health (DOH)'s rule, who HANDED IT BACK to the administrations who said "Our State need not waste time on an Insignificant population", Governor Linda Lingle then said RECENTLY, that it was "A Medical Poilicy", yet it is not written anywhere where You and I or you can see it. So No Federal Rule, barring it, but no Law permitting it which is the reason for this Petition.

Time is truly of the essence and there isn't too much time to waste. STATE YOUR POSITION ON THE BILL FOR AN ACT, EITHER IN SUPPORT OR OPPOSED, AND AS YOU KNOW THE POINT IS TO GET THIS STATEMENT IN, TRY AND LEAVE YOUR NAME AND PHONE NUMBER, EVEN IF YOU ARE LIVING OUT OF STATE, THAT; "THAT YOU ARE IN STRONG SUPPORT OF THIS MEASURE AND NOT ALLOWING IT IS PLAYING G-D AND IS JUDGING WHO GETS THE "GIFT OF LIFE", WHICH UNDER NO PRE-EXISTING REASON, ESPECIALLY THAT I AM HIV+, OR CANNOT AFFORD MEANING UNINSURED THAT IT IS BLATANT DISCRIMINATION, EVEN THOUGH FOR A SUCCESSFUL 5 YEAR RUN & STILL GOING OF UNDETETABLE VIRAL LOADS AND A T-CELLS COUNT OVER 400, AND AT 43 YEARS OLD, WHICH IS YOUNG, FOR ME BEING A LTR_LONG TIME SURVIVOR.

I COULD LIVE ANOTHER 25-30 YEARS, BUT THE GOVERNMENT AND/OR THE STATES ARE MORE WORRIED ABOUT THAT IT COSTS $250,000 EASY, KEEPING THE AVERAGE HIV PATIENT ALIVE THROUGH THE STATES HDAP PROGRAM, WHICH EVERY STATE HAS, WITH THEIR MEDICATIONS AND HOSPITAL VISITS AND HOPEFULLY INSURANCE. THE BILL SENATE BILL 2844 DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE AGAINST THE UNINSURED, & I VOW THAT THE SECOND VERSION OF THE BILLS TEXT SHOULD BE OUT SOON WITH INCLUSIVE OF THE UNINSURED!
