This is important because the animals at this store are sick. They live in unsanitary enviornments. The birdcages are not clean and the birds poop in their water. This means that they get sick and die. There fish are packed into tanks with way to many in each one. There are even other dead fish in the tanks.
This is inhumane. These animals do feel things. Some people think that a fish is not as worthy as a cat because it is not as smart. This means they do not treat it as well. Humans have no right to say this. They are not a fish or a cat. It would be like taking a smart woman and a woman with autism and saying that the girl with autism does not have as many rights as the smart girl.
